My Palm Zire 31 locked up. I can't enter the password
and, I don't have a pin, to reset it. I backed up the
data earlier today so, I am not worried about that. If
it stays on continuously, will it burn out?

Mine stayed on his 'reset' screen for over an hour, didn't gave a
problem, but can SNT/TFT screens still burn out?

I don't think so. If you can't reset it, the battery will probably run
down eventually, and when you recharge it, it will be the same as a
reset. However, I have heard that allowing a lithium-ion battery to
discharge completely is not good for the battery.
