Ordering parts for a new computer system. While reading various sites and threads, it has been recommended to update the BIOS, even the relatively newly released Rampage.. Asus' site states updating BIOS should only be done when experiencing "technical difficulties" and they have a utility for updating, done through their supplied MB CD and their website.

With the board relatively new, and you knowing that I game a lot, any info or opinions welcomed from Rampage users or other MB experiences.

Coolermaster Cosmos, Asus Rampage, 4870X2, 8 gigs Mushkin Accent, PC Power 860w PSU, WD 1T HD, Vista Ult 64 bit.

DO NOT FLASH BIOS THROUGH WINDOWS!. Read the Manual on how to use EZ Flash

i had to downgrade my bios to 3.08 to get it to work with my raid controller.
