I bought the external HD103UI (1TB) a few months ago and it was working fine until yesterday. Today I went to turn it on and it would produce these clicking noises and my computer doesn't recognize it anymore. Is there a way to fix this myself or do I have to take it into a professional? Have I lost all of my data that was stored in it or is there a way to recover them?

Cheers!!

Unfortunately I think you need to go to a data recovery service; clicking sounds usually indicate the hard disk has failed, meaning you cannot do anything to access the data unless you have the disk completely reconstructed.
