:bounce: Hey guys, Whats up :bounce:
There a question that i have been wanting to ask.

And it goes like................

Where the heck has all the GA-P35-DS3L gone too?

I see the GA-EP35-DS3L there but i dont see the GA-P35-DS3L anywhere not even on the online e-tailers.

Have they stop producing them?

I know they that the GA-EP35-DS3L is a GA-P35-DS3L but with energy savings.

But i like the GA-P35-DS3L better then the GA-EP35-DS3L

Do you guys think its the same? or is the EP35 better then the P35.

And if you knew which site does sell it please do tell.

Thnx for reading. :hello:

Don't know if it's any better, but I wouldn't expect too much, if any difference between the 2.

It's been EP35-DS3L all along.

I guess i'll go with the EP35-DS3L

Another thing that bothers me also is the Memory
I'm a bit confused as to what voltage it uses.

Will these work on the EP35-DS3L?

The memory manufacturer lists the voltage at which to run the memory at the posted speed. The standard setting is 1.8v. Some of the memory runs faster, but usually requires more voltage to run at the faster speed. Most Cas4 (4-4-4-12) DDR2 800mHz memory runs around 2.0-2.2v to run at that speed. Depending on what your plans are with the system your building, can change which memory you will need. Most memory from Corsair/Crucical/G.Skill/Patriot/Adata will run at the stock voltage of 1.8v, but may not run at the labeled speed unless you set your voltage at the labeled settings.
Any of the ones that you selected should run fine in the mobo. I have compared a few others that are about the same and are pretty fast too.
All CAS4 DDR2 800mHz. Some require 2-2.2v, so you'll need to set those in the BIOS to meet the listed speeds

look in the gigabyte website for the ram compatible list. (QVL).

That was the first thing i did. but i didnt see any required voltages it accepts.
I went to memory but i saw memory types.

As long as you don't install DES on the EP35-DS3L it will be fine.

For more info (esp. on voltages) see:
