It looks like a 1:1 ratio isn't all that important according to this, and striking an FSB Throughput:Est Real-World Throughput balance is a much more practical goal. Look at the straps and it also appears that their is an inverse corrolation between strap value and memory throughput, and that the default strap strikes the best balance between FSB:Memory throughput.
One question, is it generally better to have slightly more memory throughput than FSB throughput, given that other components will be needing some of that memory bandwidth as well?
