My system has an evga 8600gt 512mb card that I use for browsing, watching blu-rays, and WOW. I would like to make it quieter by maybe putting a passive cooler. Have a mid ATX case with a 120mm fan front and back and a 120mm on psu. Current idle temp of card is 50degrees C. What kind of temps should I get with a passive cooler that is double wide and is it a good idea for what I am doing? Some reccomendations would be appreciated

I'd check the Customer reviews @ NewEgg to get an idea on what temps you can expect.
It's a big cooler though - make sure it fits in your case.

For just $20 more (after rebate) you can get a new OC'd 8600GT with factory passive cooling: GIGABYTE GV-NX86T256H GeForce 8600 GT

MSI Radeon HD 2600XT passive $42 after rebate
