I have 2 9800gtx's in SLi, and I'm using a Tri-Sli connector to connect them. Should i switch over to using just an Sli connector? Does it make a difference?

Shouldn't make a difference. An SLI connector is an SLI connector. Besides, it's mostly handled by software anyway.
