I have just built a new pc, and this is probably the first time setting the timings and voltages for my ram. So, I'm pretty much a layman in this area. Right now, I have the ram set to auto.

I have 4 gigs of OCZ reaper hpc 800mhz ram (2x2 gig sticks)
My processor is an E8400 Wolfsdale
My motherboard is a P5QL-Pro

I tried calling OCZ tech support, and no one answered. I went to the ram configuration on their site, and that's also down.

Did you get the version with 5-5-5-18 or 4-4-4-15 timings? The first one will have a default voltage of 1.8v and the second will have 2.1v.

Hmmmmmmmm

Ok, I read the specs on newegg, and it's telling me that it's -4-4-4-15

2.1v

Maybe you could explain this a bit better, tho as I know really nothing about this and will probably have other questions on how to set it up in the bios menu.

I don't know the specifics on how to do it on your motherboard. Try looking through the BIOS (without changing anything) to find the ram voltages and ram timings. Also, run cpu-z and see what it says under the Memory tab.

Last time I was there, OCZ support forums were OK... not real fast but you could get good answers with a lot of patience.

You should download CPU-Z and run it. Look on the SPD tab to find potential settings for your RAM.
