More Information

hi, i plan on buying the hd 4870 which i will be tranfering it into a foxconn g33m02 motherboard that i've took from my dell vostro 200 slim tower, which took stupid half height cards, so i've had to look for a new tower and psu to power this card.

i have ok knowledge when it comes computers.

the psu i'm after is OCZ 500w and the tower i will be transferring everything into is a coolermaster elite 330, i'm about 60% sure that the foxconn MB is a micro atx board but someone mentioned it might be BTX and when installing it in the cm 330 or any atx case it will upside down, can anyone confirm what board it is?

the second question is if i buy the 4870, OCZ 500w, cm 330 and transfer the motherboard, E6750, 320gb HD, 2gb ram and a multi card reader, at a glance do you think al run into any problems when installing i.e size of GPU fitting in tower or psu not recommended/not powerful enough or any comatability issues, anything technical?

thirdly if everything is fine and i got the correct components, i honestly don't have a clue when it comes to the cooling of the system, the dell vostro has a fan on the CPU intaking air that comes from the vent on the side panel then seen how its a slim tower its got a fan on the top of the case inline with heat sink on the CPU gather its the exhaust for the cpu and the fan in the psu is an exhaust for the rest of the components, so total 1 intake and 2 exhaust.

so for the cm 330 tower were would you recommend the fans to be placed and what should they be doing? the tower comes with one fan on the back, an optional on front and two on the side, i've read that the hd 4870 operates at load at about 70 degrees C, i'm worried about frying an expensive GPU and CPU and burning the rest of the system

thanks in advance
