Probably getting an ASUS RAMPAGE FORMULA LGA 775 Intel X48 ATX
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6813131284

It has 6 SATA2 Connectors on it that run 3Gb/sec...

Does that mean I could connect 6 WD Caviar 250GB SATA/300 7200RMP drives to this motherboard? (I can get em for $43 a pop) I could create a very quick 1.5 Terabyte RAID 0?

Windows Vista can boot off that too right?

-------------------

Also, could somebody give me a quick run down of the raid levels? 0, 1, 5, etc?

I know a Raid 0 is build for speed, and other raids are redundant. (Writing the information to different drives multiple times.) I just don't know the different levels.

Thanks,
- Witt
