Can anyone help me. Tried looking through the forums for answers but when I find a thread that might be able to answer, I click on it and get "Thread not available" or something similar.
I have a Gigabyte GA-MA770-DS3. When I run SiSoft Sandra it tells me that an Auxilliary temperature on my mother board is 79C with an exclamation mark. Took the side off the case and made sure all case fans (3 of them) are working (which they are). Power Supply, CPU and graphics card fans are all working too.I noticed that there is a connection for a Northbridge fan even though the motherboard doesn't have a Northbridge fan.
So my questions are;
Could a hot northbridge be the cause of my graphical glitches (picture breakup on games and dislike of graphics card to operate above 46C)
Is it possible to fit a fan to the Northbridge heatsink.
Where might I get one if fitting one is possible.
I doubt if my graphics card is at fault because I bought a another card to check if the first was playing up.
Hope someone can help.

MSI Nvidia 9600GT
XFX Nvidia 8600GT(bought to check if first card was faulty)
2x 1GB Corsair DDR2 800mhz
Thermaltake Soprano
Arctic Power 500w
Seagate 250GB SATAII
AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600
Coolermaster Vortex
I have had the same glitches occur in an old 7900GTX and it turned out the card was faulty (only eight months new) so I had it replaced by ASUS (took about 6 weeks). Doubt it would be the north bridge overheating but the more cooling the better!
