i,m trying to come to a decission on a monitor.I can pick up an LG 24 inch for about $300,but then found Hanns-G HG281DPB 28-Inch for about $460.Price is an issue but if they are of similar quality-thinking for the long term,it could help my choice. Also i'm running an 8600gt vid card.Should it be able to handle the resolution? Thanks guys.

Unless you aren't gaming the LG, if however you are gaming get a new video card instead! A 4850, 9800, 4870 ect.. will demolish that 8600 in all resolutions.

Or just get the 9800, or 4850 as well as the LG (using the money you would have spent for the Hanns-G)
