What is the max temp on a Q9450 intel processor? On load and off load?

My mobo reports max temp at around 14C over ambient at 3.2GHz overclock with a Noctua NH-U12P cooler and plenty of fans in my Antec P-182 case. With stock settings and stock cooler, I don't know.

Edit: No load is about 1C over ambient with the same setup.

Seriously 14C, What is ideal for this processor?

Max temp before damage (when the motherboard will cut power to the CPU) is 100C- the temp before the CPU will clock down to save itself from is 71C

Hmmm....strage question...
The maximum temp from a proc depends on its cooling system, but if the temperature is goin' to high, the mobo will shut it down automatically.

A friend of mine has told me that any temp above 70'C will shorten your proc live or even damage it right away.
