I have a 750i sli ftw evga motherboard and plan to OC a q6600 to 3.6ghz.
My question is I see alot of people changing the NB fan to a bigger one....why?
and if i do I cant fit my xigmatek s1283 cpu cooler....or should I turn it so it vents out the top.

Please keep in mind im trying to reach 3.6 on a q6600 and I quess my real quetion is will the stock NB fan be o.k or do I need to mount a bigger on and turn the HS for the cpu?

Any input would be very helpful...being my parts will be back from an RMA the 16th. - THANK YOU TOM'S

The NB should be okay, but the s1283 is a very good cooler, that'll get your Q6600 to 3.6Ghz
