Hi

Im having a problem with my new computer. Its a:
Intel Core 2 Quad 2,83Ghz
2x Sapphire ATI Radeon HD4870 Crossfire
8GB DDR2 Ram
ASUS P5E Deluxe Motherboard
500GB Samsung 7200RPM Harddisc
DirectX 10
- None of the parts overclocked

But still i only get 5888 in 3DMark Vantage and 43345 in 3DMark 03. When i compare to similar systems on the internet they all get at least twice that. I have checked that both windows and the ATI CATALYST software finds all of the hardware correctly, and installed the latest drivers from ATI's homepage.

I don't think the results match the power of the system? - and i cant find anything wrong, any suggests?

Hope you can help me!

Best Regards
Kim Thomsen

03?? Why are you using 03? At least use 06. Get 06 and post your results. What is your CPU/PSU model?

Ok, i will try that... My CPU is an Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 2,83Ghz and my PSU a Corsair TX750

With your setup I would think that you can pull 16-17K in 3Dmark06 easy. I saw scores in the 18Ks for xfire but I don't remember what their CPU clock was. You have to pay attention to people's CPU clocks when comparing 3D mark scores because small overclocks will make a huge impact. If you bump your CPU up to 3.2GHz you should see some good scores.

I did a CPU OC test with 3DM06 just to get a feel for how the small bumps in the clock affects the score. Take a look. I am using a quad core like yours so you should see higher scores than this with xfire...but my 4870 is OCd to 790/1000 in these tests.
