I have a 1TB WD World Book Ethernet drive. It won't start. I think that the drive is OK. Nut, the interface will not boot. Can I put the disk in a SATA enclosure and recover the data?

Solution

Thanks for the reply! I have successfully taken the drive out of the enclosure and put it in a USB enclosure. But, when I plug it into a computer-I had used a Mac--it cannot mount the disk. I see that there are 4 partitions on the drive-3 small partitions and 1 large. Do I need to mount to those partitions directly? I guess I am stuck getting to the data, more than getting the drive out of the enclosure. Thanks again!
