I have a dell inspiron 1420, I am working with Oracle 10g, Apache http sever 2.2 and IBM cognos server 8.4. My issue is, in my C drive I can't see free in that, I have only 6-7GB free, but when I select all the files in C drive and check the properties, it say 26GB space. None of the folder has the hidden files. Plz can any one can help me how to use my hard drive space. Or my C drive is nt showing correct mermory space

You can buy a larger drive and image the old drive to an external USB drive. Restore the image onto the new drive enlarging the partition to take up all the remaining space.
You can use Acronis True Image, Clonezilla or any other program that images drives.

Or you could just use an external USB drive connected to the laptop for your data.
You can build one yourself. Get an enclosure with USB/eSATA and a 3.5" or 2.5" drive at Newegg.com.
