Hi I'm looking for a good mobo that has a pci-e x16 2.0 slot that's under 130$.

I did find a couple matches but they usaually have a bad ratings IMO so I need some reassurance before I buy.

This is the best one IMO that I've found, any feedbacks would be greatly appreciate, thx.

PS-I'm looking at the intel e7200 2.5ghz, most of my friends say its average but I'm thinking that it's a bit low. I might get the e8400 instead, but im planning to OC this one first, i just need to know how big the risk is of killing the CPU (my friend will help me OC) and that how do I know what fan to use, my friend told me its always safest to go liquid cool when OCing.

No need to liquid cool for a duo. That motherboard should be fine by the way - I would say with a halfway decent air cooler (xigmatek, Freezer 7 pro, or something similar), you should easily be able to overclock it quite a ways. As long as you keep the voltage reasonable (<1.36v or so), you should have very little danger of damaging the CPU.

go to newegg, into motherboards then on the left click power search. anything Intel p45, x38, x45 chipsets, or nvidia 750i, 780i. theres a bunch for under 130.

^agreed.

I'm OC'd on a Quad for 3.2ghz on air. Unless you want to OC passed 4.2ghz I believe water cooling would be a must.

The E7200 is a fine CPU. I have heard it's a great mid/budget overclocker.

You can find the 7200 at microcenter for pretty cheap, I believe.

I would use the power search at newegg as suggested. Check P35, P45, and X38, X48. I have an nVidia board now (wanted to SLI in the future), but I would got for an Intel board today. The power search even allows you to set a min/max price.

^+1. It's a good CPU for OCing.

I recommend:
P45-DS3L
or
ASUS P5Q
or
P45-DS3R (CrossFire but will bottle neck a 4850 due to the x8 lanes)

Air cooling is just fine. I have the X3350(Q9450) to 3.6 on air.

The P45 chipset is great as long as you do not Crossfire as Shadow said they have 8X/8X in Crossfire. The x38/X48 is 16X/16X.

Either the Gigabyte or the ASUS.
