Cursor freezes every few seconds

Hello,loging on to the internet takes for ever, plus my cursor freezes, and i need to switch computor of at the wall, thanks alan

Slow internet provider, to start with? DSL, phone, or cable? Are you wireless to a router?
Too many programs running, multiple / duplicate applications
not enough RAM memory?
Single core processor?
cookies not erased?
multiple / free security programs? junk software running?
