I decided to try out Windows XP remote desktop; I am rather new to the networking seen and it took me a good part of the day and night to figuring out the ports and how to get it all up and working through a ddwrt and vonage router. So here I am at 3am, I have tested it locally and it works perfectly, but did I get the port forwarding right on the routers? When I connect locally, it appears I have to do it by computer name. I want to test it so bad, but at 3am I think a married man could get into some trouble if caught. Yet still I am tempted to sneak out, drive down the road, and connect to a coffee shop wifi just to try it out. How could I explain my way out of that one though? What a risk I am willing to take for technology.
And, down to the real question, does this mean I am now a geek?

Yes, that will make you an uber geek and a bad husband. You never know. Next thing you might find out is your wife visiting to that coffee shop day in and day out to see if any girl works there.
