Vidoe Card/Mem upgrade help

I currently have a broken Geforce 7950GT 512mb gddr2 and 2gigs of pc6400 ddr2 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DDR2_SDRAM 800mhz ram.

I'm kind of on a budget and I only play at lower resolutions of like 1280x1024.


What is a gooood performing video card http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Video_card that will last me awhile for me to upgrade to?



my specs

e6850 duo core 2 3.0 ghz
2gb pc6400 ddr2 800mhz
geforce 7950gt 512mb gddr2 (need to upgrade!)
nforce 650i ultra non sli mobo
windows xp pro
ultra 600 watt ATX psu

I really just want a good video card upgrade and maybe some more ram. What do you guys think? Thanks

No my budget has changed I am going for less then what I wanted, I don't need super high budget graphics cards, I need mid-ranger-high end now, I don't have that much to spend most being 400ish for upgrades.
