Need cooler for my Pentium D

I need a good core cooler for my Dell Dimension 9100 Pentium D processor computer. the core temperature hits around 50C and i'd like it around 30C while playing games. Could anyone link me an easy-to-install and affordable cooler for my system?

yea im looking for something small, easy to install, and relatively cheap, but i can budge my price range.

You want small, cool, and cheap. Sorry to disappoint you but you can't do all three. If you want to have a cooler that's about the same size as the stock cooler and lowers your CPU temps, it's going to need to have a fair amount of copper and a decent fan for airflow, which increases the price.

You have a Dell BTX motherboard, you will find nothing that will be easy to install.
How are you reading the core temp of your Pentium D ?

That's roughly the same size as the stock Dell heatsink ( though it does have an extra pipe, the Dell has a solid copper bottom ) and the Dell uses a 120x38 mm fan, can't see the Xig doing any better at cooling a PD.

If you do not plan to overclock then you won't need a new cooler.
50c while gaming is okay.It won't affect your CPU.

If you still want to waste money for a cooler then buy an Arctic cooling Freezer 7.

The chances of overclocking it are slim and an AC7 won't fit the BTX board.
