Hi,

I want to buy a Palm with Ethernet ready so
I can plug into my Company Ethernet and surf internet.
It has to have DHCP capability. Which modle of Palm can do it?

No Palm does that built-in. The (discontinued) Handera 330 and TRG Pro can
use Compact Flash ethernet cards, and there are "ethernet cradles" for many
models of palms. The cradles aren't cheap, though you might find something
on eBay.

For handhelds, 802.11 seems the be the way to go.

The Tungsten C has WiFi built-in so you could plug in if you have a wireless
access point. Also several of the newer Palms can take a WiFi SD card. You
could also get Palm with Bluetooth and a BT dongle for a PC and connect
that way. IMHO it doesn't make much sense to used a wired connection with a
Palm.

Forgive me if this sounds like a rebuttal but...
I regularly use my TRGpro with a "wired connection" for both network
activities and modem connections... not to mention using it as a "dumb
terminal" for equipment setup.
Unless you have some sort of smart adaptor (computer/specialized
hardware) to act as a go-between for your "wireless" pda and your
target system, a PalmOS device (or ppc for that matter) without
ethernet and serial capability is really just a fancy address
book/game machine.
