I am trying to get my external Hard Disk to work but I keep getting the message "your drive is write protected, please remove the manual write protection then try again. can someone please tell me how to solve this problem. thank you.

What brand is the external hard drive? It is probably referring to a little button or thing you flick to turn "manually" turn off write protection. Check out the book that came with it, as it should point out where this little button thing is. If you remember floppy disks, it's just like that.

Plzzzzzzzzz i have a problem that my pen drive has been write protected and i unable to delete, or insert data but i can copy data from the disk.
