I'm currently running a nForce 790i mobo with a Quad Core Intel Q9550 CPU.
I have a Coolermaster Cosmos 1000 Case, and I get temps running at a constant 50-53C with the stock cooler, no matter what I do with the fans and thermal grease.
(Trust me, I've tried every combination of flipped fans, and I've used 3/4 of the tube.)

I was thinking of getting a Sunbeamtech Core Contact Freezer.
Is it any good? Will it help at all?
Thanks.

By the way, all temperatures are in the BIOS, for I have not received my Hard Drive and can't boot up yet.

And on the topic, my mobo is running at 30C, is that also acceptible?

when you install an OS then the speed stepping etc will kick in, and the temps will reduce, right now its running at full speed (but not full load all of the time)

Don't worry about it.

Thanks a lot.
Now I'm relieved.
