im new to overclocking but i have read some stuff. now i know that to overclock the cpu you need to raise the fsb then adjust the vcore. you also need to adjust some stuff like spread stepping and stuff. then run some test and check the temp.
i have a e7400 and a 2gb ddr800 ram
so the fsb of the ram is 400mhz
but how do you overclock the ram?
i have read that your fsb in cpu should not exceed your 400mhz in ram or something like that.
When you overclock your CPU by raising the FSB it will also raise the mhz of your ram automatically, and some motherboards also have a FSB:RAM ratio you can change which will up the speed of your RAM without raising your CPU FSB. Also you can change the cas timings of your ram, which is all done in the BIOS.

if i overclock my cpu, is it okay not to overclcok ram? it will still be stable?
