I am building a new PC for gaming and multitasking. I was looking at ASUS P45 P5Q MB's but since I am not planning on using crossfire, forum members recommended I get an X35 board. Will the latest games still play as well on the X35? Do I give up anything by getting the P35?

So, should I go with this P45 board

or with this X35 board?

why are you posting same question in two different thread? Please do not overflood forum.

Check in your other thread for answer.

There's no such thing as X35 :)

For a single card, your best choices these days are P43 or P45. Here are some examples:
GA-EP43-DS3L ($100, no RAID, no FireWire)
GA-EP45-DS3R or P5Q Pro ($150, more features)

Take a look at these boards at Newegg and compare features.
