Which one is better and/or faster. I'm looking for performance, this HDD will compliment my SSD as a secondary disk for games and general storage.

The 2 TB Black has four 500 GB platters and is very fast. The 1 TB has 3 meaning the areal density of the 1 TB model at 333 GB per platter puts it at a disadvantage compared to the F3's 500 GB / platter models.

I have a Caviar Black 1TB and love it. The Spinpoint is a good drive too. You might also want to consider a Seagate 7200.12.
