I have an HP M7367c desktop and was wondering if I could run a Core 2 duo processor? If so which one?

I noticed on the HP site that is says it will support the following:

Socket: 775
Supports the following processors:
Pentium D 800 series (Smithfield)
Pentium 4 600 series (Prescott)
Pentium 4 HT (Prescott)

What I thought was strange is my computer currently has a Pentium D 930 3.0GHZ. It was in the computer when I purchased it at Frys. The HP site states nothing with regards of support for the 9xx processors. I figure that their product info must not be up to date.

Computer specs:

WinXP Media Center 2005 Service Pack 3 (Bios version 3.19)
Pentium D 930 3.0 Ghz
2.0GB RAM DDR2 - PC2-5300 667mhz
EVGA Geforce 7300GT 512mb (driver 178.13)
SATA 300GB HDD (Maxtor)
DVD-RW
DVD-ROM
Sound Blaster Audigy SE (most current drivers)

Socket 775 will take a dual core, but I dont know if it will work, my guess would be a voltage issue. What kind of MOBO do you have?
