Another dissapointment thread

I just built a new system for a customer and I was really excited about the potential of the system:
E8400 @ 3.6Ghz
4gb DDR2-1066 G.Skill
Gigabyte X48-DS4
Gigabyte HD4850
WD Raptor 10K 74GB
XP Pro 32-bit

On 3DMark06 trial version it only gets about 11900.

I got over 12000 with my Q6600 @ 3.2Ghz, 4gb DDR2-800, and an 8800gts 320mb (OC'd)

Is the score low because of drivers, only having a dual core? I was expecting like 14K

Any suggestions?

Only that the newest vid drivers may not be working well, or 3DMark06 may not play well with them.

Try testing other ways.
