Is there a problem with my RAM?

I'm using a core i7 920 with 3x 2GB DDR3 1600mhz Patriot Viper RAM. Except my RAM doesn't go to 1600 mhz. I tried a base clock of 133 x10 ram multiplier, which works, but only until a base clock of a little oveer 140. I tried 12x133 for 1600, and it doen't post. With the default x8 multiplier, I can get up to 175x8=1400 (and about 5 above tghat, but unstable) maximum. I am operating with a base clock of 200x6=1200mhz, but I should be able to use my x8 for 1600. But when I do this, it will not post. What is wrong with my RAM and what should I do?

What voltage do you have it at?

And how come it says u only have 50 posts? I thought ive seen you here for months!?!?
