I have an external hard drive that I can't get to work with my new computer (windows 7). It is actually the hard drive from my old laptop (vista) in an enclosure. I was able to view the files on my old desktop (xp). The hard drive connects via USB. It doesn't show in "My Computer" or "Device Manager" or even in "BIOS". I am completely confused. The light on the enclosure is on when plugged in. The computer doesn't even recognize its existance! What do I do now?
