Hi,
I'm confused between getting the Corsair HX1000W PSU and the Cooler Master's UCP 1100W. Trust me I need this sort of wattage to power my rig..kindly help me in resolving this!

either one will work nicely. I would go with the Corsair since it is modular and cheaper. However, as some reviews stated, watch what power connectors you need.

I did not know it was modular as well...

hey thanks for the replies..the reviews of Corsair's PSU says its a top notch product in almost every department..the cooler master one only overtakes it in the sheer watts (by a mere 100) and of course the much touted efficiency..since my system is on 24/7, I was thinking of going with the CM one.

I have a Q9770 with 2*4870X2s!
