Usb hard disk probs...

i have a Hitachi 500GB hard drive with a USB enclosure...works fine with XP
but vista makes it hard coz vista business sees it and u can access it but vista home premium describes it as Dynamic Disk Invalid in disk management and it doesnt appear in my computer...does any1 have a clue on how to fix this? i dont want to format the disk coz i have lots of vital data on it and i cant afford to lose it..

Well, can't you back up your data first on your Vista Business machine, then reformat the hard drive, and see if it properly connects to all your computers?
