After updating bios' on the P5Q-E. I now get a sudden flash of green squares where the Asus logo should be and it beeps , then it shows my DVD-RW then beeps again and comes up with some blue squares and arrows on them in yellow and white but just freezes there

please help , this is doing my head in!

Reseat everything but cpu. Triple check your cable connections. If still no luck, unplug power cord, clear cmos for 10 mins - 1 hr, try each stick of ram in each slot, then load bios default & up ddr2 voltage by a notch, power off, unplug power cord, install the other ram.
