I have an Acer Aspire 5100. I have gone through a bad virus problem that caused me to wipe my drive and start over. I have installed Windows XP Pro SP3. I have been able to get everything to work fine except the flash card reader and the web cam. I can do without the web cam but I would like to use the flash card reader. I have contacted Acer tech support and since my machine is out of warranty, the only solution that they offer is for me to purchase an Acer recovery disk at a cost of $19.90 plus $10.00 shipping.
Can you help me find a driver that will work? (Not the one on the Acer site)
