Error -wStub 197610 when installing hp photosmart

I have now tried 3 times to install HP Photosmart on my computer each time I am being notified of fatal error
"-wStub."197610"
I have un-installed all drivers each time each attempt resulting in the same fatal error.
I would appreciate being furnished with an successful work around for this issue.

first you click start, control panel, add remove programs, delete all previous, including the one photosmart you are trying to install, old printer / unused software from the list.
restart the computer, turn off the anti virus, if you have multiple security programs running, turn them all off or delete them, as above.
now load a fresh install of photo smart, you must have an internet connection. Net framework probably needs to be installed before photo-smart can be installed, and usually, the photosmart install disk will include Net framework...
after the photosmart loads, restart the computer
now turn the antivirus back on
