Hey all new to the forums but I've always come here to read the great hardware reviews and questions from others. This site really is a godsend to those new to the computer world.

I wish I could have built my first PC but I was scared I'd do it wrong and just bought the new Dell Inspiron 530 with a Q6600. It's not a bad PC, but I'm now sure I could've built a much better PC for around the same price. Oh well, huh?

Anyways, my question is this:

I purchased this memory

And just want to know if Anyone can confirm that it works with the Inspiron 530 Q6600 version.

sweet.. the only thing that had me wondering was the -12 part of 5-5-5-12.
