Hello

Just wanted to know if my XFX 8800 ultra will be able to run on this power supply:
http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Product [...] erb%20550P

Here are my system specs:

AMD 5200+ [cpu]
MSI-K9VGM-V [mobo]
2 gig Kingston ddr2 800 [RAM]
XFX 8800 Ultra w/ 92mm fan [GPU]
2x IDE HDD

That psu has, by my calculation, a combined 30A on +12v rails, but the card's sys req say 500W 34A. It might work.

i would go with a psu from corsair, antec, pc power and cooling, thermaltake, enermax.

No, you won't be able to run it with that PSU, because you need 2 x PCI-E 6-pin connecters, and the Gigabyte PSU only has 1.

Go for a high-end Corsair / Enermax PSU and verify it has 2 x PCI-E connectors!
