Unable To Register Game

Hello,
pc crashed, rebuilt hd, lost all simcity 3000unlimited, tried to reregister game, but its already registered and I can't do it again. Result is I can play but can't save, says its a read only file now.What to do?

Thanks a lot. I bought a new game on ebay for 5$, figured it was a lot less hassle, but I will try your suggestion.

hello, got the new game and was able to register it, but can't save. maxis says to change the save location to a location on the hard drive as the program is trying to save to the cd which is not possible. I don't know to do this. Anybody?
