Curently I own 1 8800 GTS but i want to get another one and I think this pwoer supply can't handle 2 8800 GTS 512
http://en.toppreise.ch/desc_124859.html . Can it ?
Should I try first and then chance it?
How can I find out if my computer is underpowerd?
What happens if it's underpowerd?
And what do you mean by ,unstable'.It will damage the components ? What will it happen?
And can the PSU I own now run 2 8800 GTS this one:

usually a psu has a safe feature im pretty sure antec does so most of the time components dont get damaged but theres a slim chance it will. when i mean by unstable the computer will freeze up restart and such. that psu isnt good at all. for 600w it has low amps on the 12v rails. i mean it should work but its cutting it close. u can give it a shot and see if it runs.

well its not a good brand i cant promise nothing will happen. usually like 90% it will just restart if it doesnt have enough power but there is a small chance it can take something out. if it were me i would give it a shot but hey its me. But if ur not wanting to take the chance just buy a new psu.

The EarthWatt is Antec mid to lower end PSU, personally i would look at the Trio, Neo Power or Signature series they use better components. However, that earthwatts should run 2x8800gts but its cutting it close.
EDIT: Further investigation reveals the Earthwatts has stronger 12v rails than i thought, it should be enough. If you want something better in the Antec only go the Signature or Quattro

[quotemsg=1856683,12,54488]Antec EA650 good, but Corsair 650TX much better[/quotemsg/]
Corsair has only 1 +12v rail of 62 .Antec has 3 rails 2x22A and 1 x25A .Wich is better 1 rail of 62A or 3 rails of 69A?

The combined output of the three +12v rails on the Antec is 45 amps, the single rail on the Corsair can supply 52 amps.

Do you think I will be able to run 2 8800 GTS 512 with 1 +12V of 15 and a 2nd +12V of 16 = 31 A = 372 Watts? Right?
http://www.evga.com/products/moreI [...] s%20Family.Look at the power requirements.
Only 30 A required for 2 8800 GTS 512
And here http://www.atomicmpc.com.au/forums [...] c=7&t=9354
2 8800 GTs 512 using 217 watts on full load.
What do you think sould I be able to run them?
