Need priority for some nvidia and ati cards

I almost finalized my new pc configuration but the only part i cant figure out is to which GPU to get. I m from india so there is a huge price difference between US and India computer peripherals. HD4850 is on my top of list but in the case i need the priority order for the following cards as well.

1. 2600 XT
2. nvidia 8600 GT
3. HD3850
4. 9600 GSO
5. 9600 GT
6.HD 3870
7. 8800 GT
8. 8800 GTS
9. HD4850

As i mentioned earlier there is huge price difference so i already searched a lot and according to it, my conclusion is the priority should be (lowest to highest in order) as above. I m not really into hardware , so i just wanted to make sure i m right about my decision.

P.S. I will be using 19" LCD and i m ok with 1280x1024 resolution. The pc will be used for playing latest games for 10-15 hours/week. But i do watch movies most of the times and some programming.

That order is correct, I think. (That is, I know it's correct, except I'm not sure where the 2600XT fits.)

If you can't afford the HD 4850 and the 8800GTS is cheaper, make sure the 8800GTS is a 512MB version. There are 8800GTS 320 and 8800GTS 640 versions which are in fact slower than the 8800GT.

My local vendor recommended me to get GA-MA78GM-S2H with AMD X2 6000 as the combination fits into my budget.
This motherboard comes with integrated ATI graphics. Link for motherboard http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products/Motherboard/Products_Spec.aspx?ProductID=2758

Now due to budget problems i cant buy HD4850 and then need to choose graphics card among the following :
1. 8600gt (512MB)
2. 9600gso (384MB)
3. HD2600XT (512MB)
4. 8600GTS (256MB)
5. 9600GT (512MB)
6. HD3650

Please suggest me preference order or the best pick amongst them. Will 9600gt be fine with recent games 1280x1024?

Will there be any conflict with this motherboard and nvidia card? (i guess.. not ?)

Cheers

in your current situation i will get the 9600GT over the other cards in the updated list. but make sure you OC the card when you get it. there is alot of potential that can be extracted from the 9600GT.

The 3650 is weaker than the 2600XT, so ignore that. Likewise, while it has only 384MB of memory, the 9600GSO has a 192-bit interface instead of a 128-bit one, and is superior to the 2600XT. Ranked for power, they'd be, in order from strongest to weakest:
  • 9600GT (512MB)
  • 9600gso (384MB)
  • 8600GTS (256MB)
  • HD2600XT (512MB)
  • HD3650
  • 8600gt (512MB) - Note: 512MB versions of this card all seem to have DDR2, rather than GDDR3; the GDDR3 version of the 8600GT is a tad better than the 2600XT, while the DDR2 version is noticeably worse.
