My 200GB HD is more than 3/4 full with the Windows\Installer folder having 110GB of files in it. There has got to be some SAFE way of deleting some/all of these files. Help!

Well you click start, click control panel, click add remove programs...
this populates a list of programs installed in your machine
Then you go down the list and eliminate whatever, like junk / unused programs
or post your list of programs here and the forum can help you decide which ones can be deleted.
This will usually find and free up some drive space. This will make the machine run better.

Woa, Stop!

Don't do unnecessary surgery on your machine! The previous suggestion will do NOTHING to help your situation!

First, learn what those files are before doing anything radical,

Then learn about tools to clean up the installer folder, HERE.

Get the Microsoft Windows Installer CleanUp Utility HERE.
