I want to connect my HDTV to my pc, ive got a 8800gts 512. So i bought a DVI-D to HDMI Male Cable(not yet deliverd) So i was wondering is this all i need to get good quality picture nd sound to my tv? Or do i miss something else aswell?, thanks for looking

That will get a good quality picture. The 8800GTS doesn't support sound over HDMI though, so you'll need a separate sound connection.

Ooh, so i need more cables. What kind of cable would i need to get audio from my pc to the tv?

What kind of audio in connectors does your TV have? If it has a fiber optic, that could be the best way to go, but there are several options that should all work.

Hmm, I am not sure at all sorry about the audio connections. Its a 42lg6000, but i think it should have the normal audio ports.

Can u name any sort of audio cable, which i can obtain cheaply online and would work with my settings?

ooh also i do not think my pc has an optic fibre output

Ok i have 2 'digital audio' one input, the other output.
