Swiftech h20-220 and coolit eliminator

Hey everyone,

I was just wondering what were some of the best compact/self contained liquid cooling setups on the market like the swiftech h2o-220 compact and the coolit eliminator. Anyone have an opinion on these two? Anyone know of a better one under $200?

Under $200 stay air. Self contained no hassle is not worth your trouble. You want great temps, $250 min and build it yourself.

TONS of posts here in the last 30 days saying that, take your time.

buy some parts on ebay and you can make a WC loop for about 150-200

You can cut some costs if you use heatercores and willing to DIY your hose barbs/connections. You can also find cheaper pumps around, but I'm not completely sold on Ebay stuff most of the time...do a lot of Googling on part #'s and product reviews...if you can even find them on some of that stuff.

i would buy the rad, the tubes, the res, and possibley the block on ebay

I really like the idea of doing the cooling myself but the problem is I'm looking for cooling for a core i7 in a lan box. I would really like to over clock yet still stay under $200, and yes, i would be willing to make some modifications to the case.

This link shows the minimum size I would go for on the rad. The pump and CPU block is good stuff. Good kit of good parts. You can't trick physics, you need xx cooling for a processor. Big overclockers on the i7 get a 120x3 rad, not a 120x2 like shown in the pic, no way will it fit in the Lan box.
