need help deciding 6gb ram

Hi.. I currently have OCZ platinum revision 2 ddr2 @ 899 mhz 2 gb (2 x 1GB) and 32bit windows ultimate.. I was thinking of upgrading another set of 2 ram but I don't know if I'm going with another 2 x 1 gb to make it 4 gb total or 2 x 2 gb to make it 6 gb.. Which is better, 4 gb or 6 gb? I can upgrade to 64bit when it becomes completely stable regarding drivers.. but running 2 sticks of 1gb and 2 sticks of 2 gb compatible with each other? THANKS!

Vista x64 is pretty stable right now. I've been using it for several months and have had 0 problems. Many other people have the same story.

I'd say get a 2x2gb kit, but take the old ram out. Only put it back in if you really need it to reduce stability problems.
