I am think of upgrading my system for as little money as possible but both my motherboard and cpu are rubish but i have heard people overclocking my cpu to 3.2ghz easily and even 3.8ghz which would be the best and cheapest mb to use?
i live in the uk so uk sites and cheap is around #50 or under. the best board i have found is http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-125-GI&groupid=701&catid=5&subcat= but thats abit expensive
my system

MB:http://www.msi.com/index.php?func=proddesc&maincat_no=1&prod_no=1565
CPU:E2200
GPU: 9800gt (1GB)
RAM: 4gb 6400

Why not just overclock with your current system?
That really would be the most cost effective way to go.

If you have FSB adjustments in the BIOS, read the Core 2 overclocking sticky and go to town.
If not, try a BSEL Mod and enjoy the free speed.

Really, there is nothing wrong with your current CPU.
Sure it is a little doggy at stock but it can overclock like a beast.
Similar with your motherboard.
While it is a MSI (ugh) and runs a quite old chipset, it is rated to run at 333Mhz FSB which gets your CPU (potentially) to 4Ghz before you even have to overclock it....

i have already tried 1:1 and i can't change the cpu vcore on my mb. I have heard about the boot strap thing before is it a good idea i thought it could kill my system and has anyone else done it with my processor?

in my manual HW overclocking options are 200, 266 and 333 if i tried it, because i haven't changed the voltages or anything and if it goes wrong could i just swap them back and it would work?
