Win 7 lost my hard drive :(

I just installed Win7 64 on a new Segate 500gb drive, everything installed perfectly. I also had my old WD drove hooked and it contained a lot of back up data from my previous OS (XP32). Now Win7 sees my old WD in the device manager, but I dont see anywhere in the "computer" screen, just my new HD and my DVD, how do i access my old drive?

nevermind, found it, had to run diskmgmt.msc and assign a letter to it.

so clearly Windows 7 is fine and you're a novice....
