Well I am building 2 systems that are pretty close to each other but one amd and one intel. Need some advice on if the psu is enough on each system. Here are the specs.

Intel
CM stacker 830 evo black
pc power and cooling 750 quad
MSI p7n diamond
intel q9450
4 to 8 gigs of ocz reaper 1066 or 800
asus dvd rom and dvd burner
wd 1tb hd and one veloca raptor 300
2 gtx 260 sli'd
zalman 9700 led

AMD
CM stacker 830 evo silver
pc power and cooling 750 quad crossfire
msi k9a2 platinum
AMD phenom 9950 quad
4 to 8 gigs of ocz reaper 1066
asus drives or lite-on
wd 1tb + 300 gig velocaraptor
2 4870 in crossfire
Zalman 9700 nt

I know this probably does not make a lot of sense to many of you but I want one intel and one amd system that are pretty close and almost the best of what they offer.

Sheesh. Go with DDR2-1066 for both of them. DDR2-800 is fine on the Intel one if you're not heavily overclocking.

The 4870 CF outranks the GTX260, I believe. If you want the best NVIDIA has to offer, go for 9800GX2 SLI

Zalman 9700 isn't the highest ranked cooler. Might want to check that out.

4870 alone outranks the the gtx260 and sometime times the gtx280 4870cf dominates, but i suggest you wait till the single slot dual gpu 4870x2 comes out it will be amazing

BFG recommends 36A combined for a system with a QX9650 and a single GTX260. Add another 240W or so for the second GTX260 and you get 56A. The max of the Silencer 750W is 61A IIRC. It should work, but kind of close to the max.

There's no 750W PSU certified for GTX 260 SLI. Get a Corsair HX1000.

Is the idea to compare those two computers? Then you have to make it fair, use the same type and amount of RAM.

I prefer the Xigmatek HDT-S1283 to the Zalman, it's cheaper and quieter. It supports both AMD and Intel.

It all looks good.

+1 to xigmatek GDT-S1283 it outperforms the zalman and its cheaper and quieter but i suggest you the back plate or "crossbow"
