How good are the Ice-Q coolers from HIS? I have been thinking of upgrading lately for the near future and instead of buying a graphics card and after market cooler I've thought of the Ice-q from HIS. How good at cooling the card are they as compared to stock dual slot and after market coolers and how quite are they compared to the same.

I keep finding benchmarks and conflicting reports even some from the same site. For those with experience what are your impressions?

You probably need to ask about specific models. In general, the IceQ's are very good, both cool running and quiet. They are often overpriced, but if priced near the same as reference, they are a great alternative. I have owned 3 of them, but the best was a X1950XT (a couple gen's old now) so I can't comment on th latest models first hand. Seems to me the iceQ 4850 is once again looking like a nice alternative to reference design if priced well.
